Simmon Manalo from the Philipiines is releasing his first demo single "My Heart Is Yours To Keep" for his self-titled debut album due to be release on May 30, 2010. This is a Soul/R&B song which talks about commitment to the one you love and trusting your partner not to let others hurt your heart that you let him/her keep.

My Heart Is Yours To Keep is started with an acoustic guitar then the jazz organ comes in and then a r&b drum beat enters at the second verse. This will surely suit your mood when you feel reminiscing and looking back at the moments that you've done and feel free to smile with Simmon's voice reminiscing with you!!!

Hey everyone,

Just to start off, I am currently being shopped for a record deal down in Nashville, TN. I have produced 3 songs with Producer William Smith in Nashville's top recording studios, I am currently promoting these songs out and any where I can. I am 25 years old with a regular full time job in Florence, KY and currently playing out at open mics, bars, venues.

Everyone say I should be doing this for living and I am slowly starting to push away my job and trying to get into the music career business. Music industry is hard to predict due to the economy, and how trends will change over the years. I hope I can find my place in this field and do what I love mostly to do, well.. MUSIC, lol. Anyways, you all take care!

i'm so sorry to the people who enjoy my songs, I currently have the swine flu so I can't hit any notes until I get better although I'm done with my album 'The One (Chosen)' and if you want the songs, they are free of cost unless you wanna download the entire album, I would suggest you just download them one by one to get all of them if you want...

Being Heard And Cyber Busking

Great news, I've just signed my first licensing deal with Eos Business Music in the US. In a nutshell selected tracks will be played in business outlets i.e stores , restaurants and dare I say lifts and supermarkets. This is all exposure for my songwriting and will earn me royalties each month.

I really took my time before signing and corresponded with their courteous and patient staff, a helping hand from a musicians union lawyer helped me finally sign on the dotted line and I'm delighted.

I'd also been blitzing production companies that specialise in music placement for film and t.v, I've had some great feedback and am currently waiting on one opening here in London that I hope comes to fruition, I'll keep you posted.

All in all a very productive month and more fans are signing up to my website, all be it FREE the downloads are soaring into the hundreds. Nice thought that I-pods and mp3 players all over the globe are listening to the songs.

When I say "cyber busking" I see my website as an online busk of my material and kind of reminds me of earlier times busking in York and Holland and it's simply up to the public to enjoy the music and their descision to pay/donate or just dig the music for free.

On the creative side I have enough material now for a new album or maybe I'll release more EP's.

As ever still an emotional roller coaster balancing the muse with home life and having to support the family but still enjoying the journey. The afore mentioned successes are just chipping away at getting me a living from my art.

I'd still welcome comments from you on the songs you've downloaded and spreading the word is essential. The new website is a one stop shop where friends and fans can interract.
