Great fiddle work in the intro!

I regularly am entertained at local country jamborees, and your song reminded me of sitting in the hall on a Sunday, and a group of folks treating us all to some great traditional country tunes!

Well-crafted traditional song, with good choices made in steel guitar placement and harmonies.

Great hook ("things could be better but they're not")

Texas Style
Standard intro leading into a traditional Honky-tonk Kinda tune. Nice fiddles. Reminiscent of an old George Strait tune. Vocals were compelling and fitting. Absolutely loved the instrumental break. Nice Texas-Style feel.
