Britian’s hottest new male solo artist for 2010. Marconi’s big passion is
song writing and performing in front of energetic crowds. Marconi is
currently recording his first album with Major Music in Farringdon.

If you ever see someone sitting on the tube singing into a dictophone, you know who it is. Marconi is a very passionate song writer and writes 3 -4 songs a week. He says, "I get ideas at the most random times, I could be sitting on a bus or a tube, or I could be out with friends. I always carry around my dictophone with me because it goes just as quick as it comes. When I get home I replay it and then just work on the song".

The story behind the songs:

Head Held High

Head Held High was written by Marconi Beam himself in mid 2009
around the time that he was going through a terrible break up. The
song is produced by Marconi and Dennis from the Major Music team.
The song fuses acoustic and electric guitar riffs with electronic synths
and pop drum beats creating this unique Electro/Pop/Funk sound.

After three years Marconi was dumped by text! Well that happens to
the best us doesn’t it?

The result is Head Held High, powerful, energetic, upbeat and think payback!
This song will make anyone going through a break up feel better! It’s
all about coming out of a relationship looking forward to the future,
who needs to be with someone who’s gonna treat you like that
anyway? Who needs to be with someone with that attitude?
At the end of the day, Marconi came out of that relationship feeling
more determined than ever to do what he has dreamt of doing since
he was 4! Watch out for him in 2010!
The next song which Marconi is working on in October 2009 is called
My Friends Said Can’t You Read The Signs. Again written by Marconi
after an experience is night club in Central London. More on this later

Baracasa Bacardi is a self taught musician who has been playing with music since 14 years old, the first instrument she learned to play was the Guitar, unhappy with the blisters on the fingertips, she then learned to play the piano.

Originaly hailing from New York, she moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19. Eventualy joining a band called the Royal or 'Royal Flush' , a pretty good band at the time but after a while split to thier sperate ways leaving Baracasa stranded on her own. Though not for long, she quickly found another band who were happy to take her onboard. The band got noticed by an A&R representative who works for Capital City Records in L.A. who then turned her attention to music production.

Her first few tracks were with an Artist from Detroit called 'ANON' she created five tracks for his album which received some great reviews. She then moved onto work with a Jazz artist by the name of 'Meleo' who now works with Ronnie Laws, these are just two of the many Artists from L.A. that Baracasa has produced music with / for.

Now the private and shy young women is working on many projects with many Artists from all over, and is also working with Earths Last Defence Music to supply her unique music production skills so that more Artists can have access to her productions and so that others can experiance a new level of music power.
