LSA which means Life’s Sole Apprentice, has always loved music and is well versed in the art of creation. No where is that more evident than on her album Bits and Pieces. It is a multihued and exciting collection of electronica music and trip hop, techno and downtempo music.

Initial ideas of producing electronic music came by accident. and fate took that process full circle, between the hard bass lines of techno, to the atmospheric moods of chill out, these styles are blended together to create an ever evolving style of music.

LSA commented-“I named it Bits and Pieces because all the tracks are snapshots of a lot of things I pieced together from all over the place.” Half way to completing the album I decided to change the course and add a more trip hop and downtempo elements by having my partner Eleven sing on some tracks, most notably the prolific “Jesus Love Me” and the warm “Open Your Heart”.

LSA takes one idea and then builds upon it, joining several sounds around a theme, creating clever adaptations from the tools at hand, namely keyboards, guitars, drum and bass, and in some instances, key spoken word phrases and vocals that ignite the principle of each composition.

While each individual develops their own interpretation of what they are hearing, LSA engages your senses with samplings from sounds from life, nature, and our surroundings in general, then mixies it all electronically with layers of keyboards and various sounds that shifit your conciousnesss from one demension to another. This is a process that makes for a ambient surrealistic expereince one has to engage in to understand on their own level.

ZAID KHALLID HUMBLE BEGINNINGS STARTED FROM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WHEN HE WON THE CHANCELLORS CITY RIDE POETRY CONTEST. PERFORMED WITH A GROUP OF POETS CALLED JAH ROOTS AROUND NYC AT CLUBS LIKE SOB’S, APOLLO THEATER, SUDAN, AND THE AFRIKAN POETRY THEATER WHERE HE WON THE BEST POET AT THEIR ANNUAL POETRY CONTEST.

TAKING THE WORLD BY STORM ONE LISTENER AT A TIME, WITH A SOUND THAT IS FRESH AND NEW, THAT INSPIRES, THE LISTENER TO DO MORE THAN SIT ON THE LINES AND CRITICIZE BUT 2 DO MORE IN LIFE TO HELP HUMANITY SURVIVE THE CHALLENGES THAT THREATEN THE EXISTENCE OF MANKIND. Music Producer of all Electronica Genres. Electromagnetic Impulses ( Jason Mallett), has been producing music for 10 years, having started off on his mum's keyboard back in the mid 80's. In 1996 he picked up a copy of Music 2000 for the Sony Playstation™, and was instantly hooked on producing and creating music.

In 2006, after learning how to structure and arrange music, he bought his first PC and immediately set to work on an impressive catalogue of tracks, formally launching on the Internet in February 2007.

Since then, Electromagnetic Impulses has written and produced over 45 tracks,and 15 collaboration tracks, found a manager, released his 2 EP's and an album, built and maintained a fan base, created a highly popular social network, launched a monthly podcast, and been nominated for several awards.
