Dee Ayala (Songwriter)

Country, Christian, Acoustic

Dee is a songwriter of Country & Western, Western Swing, Southern Gospel, Christian and Bluegrass songs.

Dee writes with her co/writer husband Angel "Tex" Ayala. They have been married 28 years and reside in Texas. Both are BMI members with a song catalog of over 50 songs. "I think I've been writing songs for as long as I could write. I've written hundreds, but most of them ended up as birdcage liners before I started taking it seriously.", says Dee.

They started the indie label "Muddy Paws Records" and will be putting out various indie artist compilation CD's in the near future. They have both country and country gospel CD's in the works that will be released soon. Those will be all original songs sung by highly talented rising indie artists. "We now have a whole family of indie artists and indie songwriters working together to turn out some fantastic original music on the world in the near future.", says Dee.
Charles Alan Rowe

Country, Indie, Country

Charles Alan Rowe
Radio & Records Showcase
GAC’s “Behind the Scenes”
& Doin’ The Right Thing ...

Charles Alan Rowe is back after a 5 year
hiatus from the music business. Charles
abruptly left the music industry just as he
was approaching national recognition.
Charles had performed at The National
Radio & Records Convention in Beverly
Hills, CA and appeared on GAC’s “Behind
the Scenes” with John Hendricks.

Doin’ the Right Thing
Charles left the industry to gain custody
of his son Michael and to take care of his
Mother. He worked to earn his union card
as a journeyman plumber and built a new
home (by himself) in his hometown of
Godley, TX (pop: 500) to provide a proper
family environment for his loved ones.
The House is in Order - Back to the Music
Summer of 2006 found Charles closing
one door and opening another. Forever
the songwriter, Charles had been working
songs all along that reflected this time period
and in true Charles Alan Rowe fashion,
he began working on a new CD that would
be called “God • Family • Sex & Texas”.
Charles played every instrument and sang
every note on the new disc. Not one to
follow a formula (musical or otherwise),
Charles did this new project his way or as
he likes to call it: “The Texas Way”.
Boston Grammar School Schuhplattler Gruppe

World Music, Country, Alternative

We have been running for eighteen years. We started as what can only be described as a \"one off\" activity at a holiday reunion cabaret after a school trip to Germany.
The first \'full time\' Troupe was formed in late 1990\'s and instantly took off, proving extremely successful, winning local, county, national and international prizes in language festivals. A 10 Second appearance on BBC1\'s \"The Clothes Show\" in the early 1990\'s really started the phones ringing and since then, the various troupes throughout the years have performed at what must now be over 650 gigs at all kinds of of events, ranging from galas, fetes and parades to churches and old peoples\' homes!
The first ever Troupe, numbering just 9 people were invited to perform in Munich in 1992 at the world famous Oktoberfest. The next year, the Troupe won the Boston Lions\' Youth Award and, following this, a troupe of 29 lads auditioned at Hull Truck Theatre for Michael Barrymore\'s \"My Kind of People\" show, going on to perform at the regional final at Sheffield\'s Medowhall, going down to great acclaim and meeting one very young, very nervous, Gareth Gates!
More recently, the Troupe caught the roving eye of the BBC\'s Blue Peter children\'s show and we enjoyed an exciting day out at Shepherd\'s Bush studios rehearsing for our live performance at 5 pm, and again, delighted both the people of Britain and the then presenters Matt and Simon, who we provided with costumes and danced our routine with us. Such was the interest in the act, that we were also featured in the Christmas show of the presenters favourite moments of the year.
One of our most grueling gig\'s, which we have been invited to for the past two years now, is the Spalding Flower Parade where we can be seen performing with the Spalding Apfeltizers Oompah Band. This is always a great gig even though a very tiring one.
We now stand in the year 2008, after losing a couple of members last year along with our two sound engineers Nathan Talbot and Jason Smalley.
Even more recent television appearances followed a successful audition for \"Britain\'s Got Talent\" - although we were turned down by Simon Cowell, we were a big hit with the audiences, camera crew and Stephen Mulhern loved us on \"Britain\'s Got More Talent\"!
Since then, we have been interviewed on Look North about our auditions and gained a huge amount of publicity - thanks to everyone for all of your support! Watch this space to see where we\'ll end up next...
Kacey Musgraves

Country, Acoustic, Folk Rock

Kacey Musgraves is a singer songwriter-Texas born and Texas proud. She has been performing professionally from an early age, learning instruments and playing live shows.

A major, recent stop on her musical journey was appearing on the 5th season of USA Network's, "Nashville Star". She was one of ten finalists selected out of over 20,000 hopefuls vying for a spot on the show-but didn't win. "Nashville Star was an amazing opportunity. I definitely don't see not winning as a bad thing. I'm young and I've got plenty of time to earn my grit on the road. I'm not a quitter." Kacey wrote 10 of the 12 songs on the album, several of which were co-written with fellow Texan, Miranda Lambert. "Writing is such a huge part of who I am. I want my music to be taken serious. It's my story...no one's gonna write it for me." The songs that weren't written by Kacey on the album are two well deserving, well chosen covers. "I grew up hearing Neil Young at home and was inspired to pick up the harmonica, so cutting, "Heart of Gold" felt natural. I'd call myself an old-soul. I picked out an old "Byrd's" album from my grandpa's record collection. When I heard the song, "You're Still On My Mind", I knew instantly I had to cut it." Kacey's music hints of influences like Loretta Lynn, Chris Knight, Radney Foster and Tom Petty with a love for old-school country music. She enjoys performing live and loud and plays the mandolin, guitar and harmonica. "I want to see more girls playing on the Texas music scene. So I'm going to put myself out there, work hard, and have fun."
Kacey has 1967 Ford Mustang and she's not afraid to tell you it's got ". . . a 351 Windsor, C-4 trans and 3:50 gears. It runs pretty fast and I like to smoke the tires every now and then." Other down time is spent outdoors four-wheeling and fishing.
This spitfire brunette is proving she has something to say and real, honest music to be heard. Texas has taken notice.

Del Grace

Country, Pop, Rock

Singer/Songwriter Del Grace has been writing songs for 40 years and was very much involved in the sixties music scene in London. Del started touring Europe in 1964 playing guitar with the Big Wheel Soul Band with bass player Barry Nichols still rocking with a heavy metal band . This launched Del´s music career and he moved on and joined The Big Stampede, backing band for Carl (Kung Fu Fighting) Douglas. Carl Douglas and The Big Stampede also had a hit in 1967 with Crazy Feeling. The Big Stampede shared billing with Otis Redding, Ike and Tina Turner, Cream and the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band to state just a few. He played guitar in the sixties classic film, Smashing Time.
At the Stampedes resident club in Soho, The Bag “o” Nails, they were regularly joined on the set by Jimi Hendrix, Georgie Fame, Geno Washington amongst other great artists.
Following the success of The Big Stampede, Del went solo, recording two singles with Liberty Records at Marquee Studios one of which is written by John Sebastian, arranged and produced by Mike Bat and was managed by Ray Williams who at the time managed Jeff Lynn of Electric Light Orchestra.
Del had two more solo singles, recorded at Olympic Studios, produced, arranged and written by long time friend Pierre Tubbs. In 1986 Pierre Tubbs and Del built Universal Sound, a 24 track recording studio where Lenny Henry and John Shea recorded sound tracks for the film Coast to Coast, Steve Harley and the Cockney Rebel, Eddie Reader and Steve Hackett all worked with Pierre Tubbs and Del.
From his musical start, Del has always been a diverse musician.
His early musical influences clearly groomed him for his later talents for writing everything from farcical lyrics to love songs and everything in between.
Included amongst his mentors were Tiny Tim, Frank Zappa, Randy Newman, Gilbert and Sullivan, Al Jolson and it's been rumoured even Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy duos inspired his writing style.
Even today Del Grace hasn't changed. He's still 6’6, he still wears clothes from the sixties and he still love's to write weird and wonderful songs too.
His songs span over 4 decades ranging from top London studios with orchestras and backing singers to Del playing and singing on an old 2 track reel to reel, playing and singing all parts, guitar, piano, bass, harmonica, Gazoo, vocals, harmony vocals and Rolland drum machine Hence the dubious quality but hopefully the songs still come through.
Del has joined the team at Pink Lizard Studios in Marbella as Public Relations Director, since doing so he has just released his second album through Pink Lizard, and has found a new lease of life using new digital recording equipment.
