Seguida�To follow quickly without interruption..... SEGUIDA is a name that is very recognizable to the ardent Latin music aficionado. From their inception in 1972, Fania Record artists, Seguida had paved the way for the genre of Latin Rock to blossom. Their distinctive �East Coast� Afro-Cuban-Salsa-Rock sound grew out of the barrios of the Bronx, NY and has continued to delight audiences all over the world in present times. Included as part of the �Fania All Stars,� Seguida has toured extensively throughout the country spreading their infectious sounds of Latin-Rock-Jazz as they shared the stage with such great Latin music stars as Larry Harlow, Eddie Palmieri, Hector LaVoe, Willie Colon, and the list goes on�Their two albums on the Fania Music Label (Love is�Seguida, & On Our Way To Tomorrow�Seguida) still continue to enjoy record sales all over the world. Present day bandleader/producer/composer/drummer, Steve Adorno has rekindled the band and brought a mixture of original and new members together to record a third CD just recently released for the independent label Onroda Records. Seguida III�is a journey into the future for this well established band of musicians. Produced by the team of Steve Adorno/Jay Henry, Seguida III brings tradition plus new innovations to the genre of Latin Alternative music. Seguida enthusiasts will also be happy to see several brass arrangements by the original �El Patron� of Seguida, Randy Ortiz. Continuing with their tradition of using English vocals and Spanish Soneros to top off a hot salsa-soul-rock feel has proven to be a successful formula for Seguida, and it continues on with Seguida III. This CD also combines flavors of R&B, Hip-Hop, & Jazz to round out the new sounds of Seguida and signifies a pathway into the future for this very dynamic band. Along with original founding member & guitarist/composer Louie Perez, vocalist/composer Lori Rose, the newly formed Seguida is powered by a very talented lineup of seasoned musicians. Included here are well known trumpet player Pete Nater, bass player Wally Irizarry, and Gregory Rahiim Press ..boards. Vocalist Anthony Leon, Julian Meyers & Phil Ocasio on woodwinds, Jose Davila on trombone, Willie Olenick on trumpet, Congero Pito Castillo and Carlos Go-Go Gomez on timbales, round out Seguida�s live show. Seguida III boasts special guest performances from artists such as Latin music star Larry Harlow, and Latin singing sensation Kevin Ceballo courtesy of Universal Latino Records. Up & coming new artists, rapper Young Cruize, and vocalist Jaelyn Taylor give performances that are sure to excite a younger generation with their fresh new sounds. Also included on the CD are the powerful performances of west coasters Ricky & Romeo Carrido on congas & bata, & Spanish guitarist Jorge Pastrana. Dave Pracyse can be considered the future of Chicago music only in the sense that he is his own artist and nothing more. His unique delivery and witty wordplay is what hip hop has missed for years now. Coupled with some of the finest and most innovative production, he will definately make noise in the coming years. His full length debut, Come Fly With Me, is due out fall of 2009. Until then be on the look out for his Flight
School series. Vol.1 available now, Vol. 2 coming this fall.

I started playing music in the mid-70s, when music recording technology was getting more elaborate, and musicians were experimenting with the new tools. I still feel that technology is making new forms of music possible, especially the "Web 2.0" phenomenon such as this.

I have a music composition degree from Columbia College in Chicago, under the direction of the late jazz composer/arranger William Russo. I studied jazz and classical intensely during this period, as well as aleatory and experimental methods (which I still do to this day).

I write and play music like a painter paints, i.e. I go through periods, I do sketches, studies, I experiment. Since I like the visual arts almost as much as I like music, the domains are always cross-pollinating. I particularly like to apply avant garde techniques, but often retreat to song forms.

I have written hundreds of compositions over the years in a myriad of genres. I self-produced 10 or more albums of music, primarily ambient music or film music. (See my website leebarry.net for a discography)

In the early 90s, I experimented heavily in altered tunings for bass (and guitar), and in 1992, self-published a book on alternate tunings, which is now available as a free download at:

Once upon a time there was a grunge band called "Pod nadzorom" (Under surveillance). We were together playing for some two years. I think we had some 4 or 5 gigs and we managed to record a demo "of 9 of our songs. The SCREAM demo ("Krik") was recorded in June 1998 in one take.

G-Rane began evangelizing and ministering through song since he was called by God at the Myrtle Beach,South Carolina BikeFest of 2007.A solo act,but perfectly capable of keeping any crowd captivated by mainstream Hip Hop Beats and Bluntly truthful vocals,I would say the only thing missing is the proper promotion and the opportunity to a bigger stage of thousands instead of hundreds.

G-Rane definetly takes sort of a "Peoples Champion" approach doing many venues to raise money for Non-profit Organizations dealing with such things as Aids,Non-Violence,Anti-Gang,etc

The sound is hip hop at its fullest,hard-hitting beats,T.I.,Nas,CrossMovement,and Lacrae all thrown in one big positive mix.It is Hip Hop with a life changing message,which is almost impossible to find these days.Although urging the world to choose Christ and gain the eternal life that comes with it,he also targets real life issues and teaches those not ready to choose how to live wisely.

Charles Alan Rowe is back after a 5 year
hiatus from the music business. Charles
abruptly left the music industry just as he
was approaching national recognition.
Charles had performed at The National
Radio & Records Convention in Beverly
Hills, CA and appeared on GAC�s �Behind
the Scenes� with John Hendricks.

Doin� the Right Thing
Charles left the industry to gain custody
of his son Michael and to take care of his
Mother. He worked to earn his union card
as a journeyman plumber and built a new
home (by himself) in his hometown of
Godley, TX (pop: 500) to provide a proper
family environment for his loved ones.
The House is in Order - Back to the Music
Summer of 2006 found Charles closing
one door and opening another. Forever
the songwriter, Charles had been working
songs all along that reflected this time period
and in true Charles Alan Rowe fashion,
he began working on a new CD that would
be called �God � Family � Sex & Texas�.
Charles played every instrument and sang
every note on the new disc. Not one to
follow a formula (musical or otherwise),
Charles did this new project his way or as
he likes to call it: �The Texas Way�.
