ArthurJCL

Alternative

Arthur Louttit A.K.A (Justin King) stage name. Was born in Moose Factory, Ontario. 1972. Lived in Moose Factory Island half his life before venturing into television production. Picking up the guitar in his early teens, he was heavily influenced by heavy metal bands. His guitars playing days seemed to be over when he left town in 1997 to pursue a career in television. Only after being trained in the military and facing the possibility of death. He picked up the guitar again. This time the music came like a flood gate, he had something to share. Arthur opted for something more raw not so much heavy metal. Something familiar yet different. After being released from the military Arthur continues to record for an upcoming Album entitled: \"Momentum\".

Soldier In The Sun-

This song was meant to be a song to say hello or goodbye. It\'s to all those who fight to \"maintain freedom\". Our forefathers fought for freedom before us. This song was meant as a way to communicate when, not allowed to. To all the friends, fathers, sons, daughters, sisters, mothers still serving. I salute you.. This is my song for you.

Decent Man-

This song was meant to be a song of one\'s struggle to come to terms with his own tortured soul. Only after becoming at odds with the choices in life. The path: a journey of self discovery and at the end, the realization. When the starry night leaves our eyes for the last time.
Camero Jones

Blues, Alternative, Rock

Born in Worcester MA 1961, moved to Austin in 04. Like an idiot I decided to be a singer songwriter in life and not a plumber or lawyer. My girlfriends are usually young crack whores who prostitute themselves for dope but it's better than being alone and they need someone to make as miserable as they are, but hey, never a dull moment with the cops, lawyers, landlord bitching, and picking up the broken shit thrown at me around the house. I hate government because they all lie like my crack whore girlfriends and I dislike lier's. I like guns, lots of guns. I practice once and a while and if I ever make money at music maybe I will practice more. My political affiliation are the Malcontents. I should get a real nice girlfriend but many are just urban prostitutes in disguise and cost more to please which is still never, plus they give lousy head and they still will ruin your life and get everything you have, its the American way, no wonder no one gets married anymore. I love my country, but hate communist liberals because they are fucking mentally ill and want my guns, and turn my kid into a deballed queer and make them listen to foolish woman like the ones on the View or Sex in the City, no wonder men don't get married anymore. I think the men in England are politically correct pussies who should be wearing skirts, and I hope the men in this country will keep their balls by getting of the couch and standing up to the liberal scum who will destroy this once great country because most American men suffer from the greatest evil of them all, complacency. I don't think all woman are bad, and to tell you the truth, I think the survival of this country is in the hands of the few honest, submissive, strong, smart, caring, forgiving, beautiful inside and out ones left in this country, who can motivate a man to be his best because of who they are and not what the fucking mentally ill liberal establishment says they should be, like dressing like a Hollywood whore who men like for two hours but have no respect for.. God bless those few, and I hope there are more of them than my jaded mind thinks. In ending, I'm putting my music up and if you want to listen knock yourself out.
Richie Lloyd Brown

Christian, Alternative, Pop

Richie's songs are inspired. His music ability is comes from his genetics, and blessings from on high. Plus he just walks around singing everywhere he goes. It's really quite embarrasing. He is a member of the LDS faith, and much of his music is influenced by his faith. He was surrounded by music throughout his life, as his mother is an excellent pianist. But he never took to music until he was in highschool, where he discovered his real passion for music, and performance. Many of his songs were thought up while serving his mission in Russia and the Republic of Georgia. Now he is home and working hard to develope himself into a musician. He hopes that by sharing the music that has shaped and formed his life, others too may find comfort, healing and strength. He is self taught in piano and all his works he composed and arranged.

Boston Grammar School Schuhplattler Gruppe

World Music, Country, Alternative

We have been running for eighteen years. We started as what can only be described as a \"one off\" activity at a holiday reunion cabaret after a school trip to Germany.
The first \'full time\' Troupe was formed in late 1990\'s and instantly took off, proving extremely successful, winning local, county, national and international prizes in language festivals. A 10 Second appearance on BBC1\'s \"The Clothes Show\" in the early 1990\'s really started the phones ringing and since then, the various troupes throughout the years have performed at what must now be over 650 gigs at all kinds of of events, ranging from galas, fetes and parades to churches and old peoples\' homes!
The first ever Troupe, numbering just 9 people were invited to perform in Munich in 1992 at the world famous Oktoberfest. The next year, the Troupe won the Boston Lions\' Youth Award and, following this, a troupe of 29 lads auditioned at Hull Truck Theatre for Michael Barrymore\'s \"My Kind of People\" show, going on to perform at the regional final at Sheffield\'s Medowhall, going down to great acclaim and meeting one very young, very nervous, Gareth Gates!
More recently, the Troupe caught the roving eye of the BBC\'s Blue Peter children\'s show and we enjoyed an exciting day out at Shepherd\'s Bush studios rehearsing for our live performance at 5 pm, and again, delighted both the people of Britain and the then presenters Matt and Simon, who we provided with costumes and danced our routine with us. Such was the interest in the act, that we were also featured in the Christmas show of the presenters favourite moments of the year.
One of our most grueling gig\'s, which we have been invited to for the past two years now, is the Spalding Flower Parade where we can be seen performing with the Spalding Apfeltizers Oompah Band. This is always a great gig even though a very tiring one.
We now stand in the year 2008, after losing a couple of members last year along with our two sound engineers Nathan Talbot and Jason Smalley.
Even more recent television appearances followed a successful audition for \"Britain\'s Got Talent\" - although we were turned down by Simon Cowell, we were a big hit with the audiences, camera crew and Stephen Mulhern loved us on \"Britain\'s Got More Talent\"!
Since then, we have been interviewed on Look North about our auditions and gained a huge amount of publicity - thanks to everyone for all of your support! Watch this space to see where we\'ll end up next...
The Banks Brothers

Christian, Christian Rap, Alternative

Gospel group The Banks Brothers consists of Eugene, Princeton, and Cedric. They were born in West Helena, Arkansas, and began their singing career, in 1996, in churches in their city. With their mother, Eleanor Banks, seeing the talent and the unity in her boys, she named the group and worked very hard with the help of other family and friends, to get her boys in just about every church in the city. Soon The Banks Brothers was singing at a different church every weekend. With the God and their mother, The Banks Brothers has been seen in cities such as Chicago, Dallas, Orlando, Memphis, Pine Bluff, Little Rock, and many more cities across the states. The Banks Brothers had soon become known for singing acapella. "We tried to be smart about it, we never had a band or nothing to play for us, so instead of getting up there singing a song that really needed music, we just sang songs that don't supposed to have music", says Cedric Banks. With gospel group heroes like the Fairfield Four, The Golden Gate Quartet, and many others, the brothers started singing songs such as, "My God Called Me this Morning", "Be With Me Jesus", and "Lord Hold My Hand", The Banks Brothers, praised the Lord every time. People loved to hear these brothers sing, not just because they had a unique sound that you really don't hear around now, but you can feel the unity in the brothers. In 1998 The Banks Brothers, became infatuated with the gospel rap and gospel R&B, soon the brothers started to put that feel in their songs. The Banks Brothers has also been known to change different R&B and Rap songs to gospel. Songs such as 'One Man' by Tank, 'Dirt off My Shoulders' by Jay-Z, and many more. Many people didn't like this side of the brothers, but they didn't really care, they kept on singing and rapping. "We soon learned that we need something for everybody. Some young folks may not understand Amazing Grace, but if we sing Stand by Me Jesus, that has a lil R&B feel to it, they might understand that better.” says Eugene Banks. After they seen that they had a few followers that was with their new style, they made more songs.
In 2004, the mother of The Banks Brothers passed away due to cancer. In result, and instead of the brothers quitting they was said to go "hardcore gospel". "We had to go "hardcore gospel". All that is, is just an uncut way of talking to the devil. A lot of times we talk to God, and that’s all good but we learned you also have to talk to the devil too. Telling him we ain't gone quit just because our mother is gone. This is what God wants us to do and our mother. We still do old time gospel but we do the rapping too." says Princeton Banks.
In 2005 and present The Banks Brothers are doing all types of gospel, Old Time Gospel (Acapella), Traditional Gospel, R&B Gospel, Gospel Rap, Gospel Rock, Country Gospel, and Gospel Oldies. The Banks Brothers are anxiously anticipating their radio debut. With their rap song “Stomp the Devil in the Dirt”, The Banks Brothers are sure to make a big debut in the city of Memphis, Tennessee and West Helena, Arkansas. “We decided we’ll just try to start in our home town first then go out to the other parts of the world,” says The Banks Brothers.
The Banks Brothers are a group on the rise to tell everybody about Jesus. Also even telling the Devil that he ain’t wanted either. Pray for The Banks Brothers and everything they trying and going to do.
