Verbal Contact is a Hip-Hop/Rap group that raps lyrics for the Lord Jesus Christ. In doing so we gain interest from all ages and receive approval and fans from parents as well. We give enough energy and enough realness that we still get the respect from our fans in the church as well as in the streets. We find it more of a challenge to master our craft/talent and have people love our music. Verbal Contact raps hard rap Christian lyrics keeping it clean so the steets can feel Christian music as well. V.C. feels that alot of Christian rappers aren't givng enough realness and hard enough beats for the world to feel. There are some bringing the heat, but the world needs more to step up. The .. 1 thing is to get the message of God to the world. Verbal Contact has a unique sound and style. We try to mimic no one. By having a universal sound, people from all over the world can relate to our sound and feel us as well. We listen to all styles of music. From old school r&b, r&b, rock, jazz, blues, country, and yes most of all gospel. By being so diverse, we have earned alot of respect and recognition. Our portfolio includes but is not limited to: Performing at the "2002 Winter Olympics," in Salt Lake City, Utah. We performed in front of over 10,000 people at the Pepsi Dome. We were also finalist in the 1999 MTV/Loud Records Ultimate Hip-Hop Talent Search. We held a winning spot at the 2001 N.A.C.A. National Main Stage Act, at the Operaland Hotel in Nashville,TN in front of 6,000 people. Verbal Contact just recently won the award for The Best Hip-hop/Rap group in the Midwest Entertainment Awards.
