Midterm Break has again been selected to perform on the EuroRock World Peace Tour, which this year has grown and will be filmed for a major movie.

The lads are excited to be part of this historic event, getting ready to shove off on August 27th for their whirlwind trip, starting in the USA.

A little about EuroRock:

EuroRock was conceived by LouRicca in 2005 to tell the world that we can all work together no matter where we are from, what religious beliefs we have or what politician runs our country. The kick-off tour in 2006 was accepted way beyond our expectations, with many people curious as to the format and mission of EuroRock. EuroRock is not only multi-national, but multi-genre rock’n’roll. EuroRock’s ultimate goal is the show the world that Peace is possible if we all work together towards a common goal no matter where we are from or what color our skin is or what religion we are. We are all people. We are all “Rockin’ The World For Peace” EuroRock will be filmed by award winning Documentary film and movie maker Dave Pederson who produced Super Size Me which gained an Oscar nomination and many film festival awards. Also, Vic Colicchio who produced the film Summer of Sam which was directed by Spike Lee, and High Times Pot Luck as well as other films to Vic’s credit. The EuroRock documentary will not only be filmed for a movie, but will broadcast on a popular network, most likely mtv which will be produced by Alexandra Townsend.

There are 14 bands in all. 6 girl bands/solo artists, 6 boy bands/solo artists and two surprises, one being a local talent in each market. About 28 artists in all. All bands arrive in New York City from Europe on or before August 28th and finish the first East Coast leg September 18th . A Westward leg is planned and will begin September 22nd and continue into California from the south and into Seattle by early October. From November to January 2008, we move the tour to the United Kingdom and plan to bring EuroRock2007 to a close and, at the same time, begin EuroRock2008. EuroRock2008 will then regroup at then end of January 2008 and launch in the Spring of 2008. EuroRock is split into two nights for some venues, one for others.

Midterm Break: Sunderland Near Scottland UK..

Pop Punk, EMO, Broke out in 2006 when they were 15 and 16 years old and haven’t stopped performing, recording and writing. These young lads just out of school and now in Music College in the UK near Scotland.

Pop Rock and Classical Jazz Pianist. Graduated from Bern , Switzerland Music Conservatory. Antonius is well known in Zurich and will be accompanying some of the other bands and musicians as well as his own set.

Ruthie Bram: Lebanon (USA Citizen)

A multi award winning young artist (18) She writes in pop, funk, blues, rap, and dance genres because she says her generation of listener is not restricted in what types of music they listen to. “My desire is to write and record what people can relate to and listen to over and over. I constantly strive to improve my craft.” Ruthie is writing a recording a song exclusively for EuroRock.

Mike Got Spiked: Ireland (For the west coast tour) Formed in late 2002, mike got spiked's incendiary live shows quickly gained them notoriety in their native Ireland. Running With Scissors, all girl Pop Punk band from Africa Running with Scissors was started in Joburg by three friends back in 2003, Caroline, Jacque, and Kerry. Michelle Nortje was introduced to the band, and out came their first album Beautifully Bruised. Dom De Klerk is the newest member to this power punk sensation. Zofka: Italy and Czechoslovakia (ONLY ON WEST COAST)
