First and Foremost, this musical project is dedicated to the phenomenpn of life and its divergent pathways, 4.5 billion years in progression.
Freesound Sciencelab produces music that takes the form of a bubbling cauldron, composed of haunting melodies, high quality digital effects, and massive sonic landscapes.
Freesound Sciencelab began in 2001, and was founded with the intention of creating a sound project dedicated to "sonic landscapes", as originally conceived by Blaine Sullivan ; Music without the normal trappings and devices associated with the art, and instead inspired by ideas of space, light, and texture.
The artwork, music, and themes are conceived by Michael Adams Jr. As mentioned before, "sonic landscapes" are the conception of Blaine Sullivan, who plays guitar on "Method 4: Containment", and "Closing Remarks". Corey Adams plays drums on "Pavane for a Sleeping Nation", and generally inspired the rhythm section. Traci Cray stands as Executive Producer, and gives insight and philosophic banter over all post-production results, so if anything goes wrong, blame can be properly apportioned onto her. Thanks Traci!
