About Me |
Oliver Gearing likes to sing about stuff that matters.
Currently putting the finishing touches to his second album 'Covering Silences With Lies', Oliver is poised for another attack upon the listening public. His latest offering strips down the ball-out rock sound of previous work, without compromising a narrative that Rock Something found to offer "a confidence and honesty that so many bands lack".
It's acoustic music for loud people.
Over the last few years Oliver has been busy writing and releasing material, from his critically acclaimed début The End of Daydreaming, to indie-chart-topping single release Just Another Day. On a parallel track his song Make Them Go Away has built a cult following and been used in many anti-bullying campaigns across the UK.
If you imagined Biffy Clyro making soundtracks to Steven King film adaptations, or My Vitriol playing an acoustic showcase alongside Apocalyptica, then you'd be fairly close to Oliver's sound.
But why don't you be the judge of that. Make Your Ears Proud.
