Luna Trick is the creative brainchild of English multi-Instrumentalist, Daniel Staniforth. Classically trained as a Cellist, Staniforth crafts an array of songs styles - ranging from alt-pop/rock to widely experimental. His hybridized guitar style renders many different sonic colours, which are further enhanced by his willingness to explore different instrumentation. Luna Trick is hard to pidgeon-hole in that it fuses many different elements, from darkwave, electronica, space-funk, to ethereal. Two CDs are scheduled for release from Flowforth Productions in 2008: "Total Submersion" and "Hoar Frost Sheen" are both out now (http://cdbaby.com/all/lunatrick). Staniforth also composes ambient, neo-classical, and soundtrack type pieces under his own name - and a classical album is forthcoming later in the spring. As a Writer and Literature scholar, Staniforth creates something he refers to as "Sonic Poetscapes."
